Rhonda Turner is an education veteran of thirty years. She has spent the last seven years as the Superintendent of Schools in her hometown of Quitman, Texas. She is passionate about public education, and making a positive difference in the lives of students.
Ms. Turner places a priority on leadership growth within her staff. She believes in growing talent, and promoting self efficacy. Believing that when individuals take ownership in the organization and mission of the organization everyone benefits, but especially the students.
Ms. Turner earned her BA in Elementary Education from Texas A&M University Commerce, and later her MBA in Educational Leadership from LeTourneau University. She did post graduate work at Texas A&M Commerce for her Superintendency. She holds Certifications from the State of Texas as a Superintendent, Principal, and Elementary General Teacher and Reading Teacher.
